Sami + Dylan | Winter Mountain Engagements

They're engaged! This December, Daylen and I hiked up into the mountains with my brother-in-law Dylan and his fiancée Sami for some gorgeous winter scenery for their engagement photos! We had been planning this since fall and were super lucky that right before our shoot it snowed over a foot of snow in one night up the canyon. It was perfect winter scenery!

Dylan and Sami have been together for four years and got engaged this past September at Tony Grove where they had their first date. For their engagements, we wanted to incorporate a bit of Tony Grove. Tony Grove is very high elevation and cannot be accessed after the first snow in the canyon by car, so we couldn't go all the way up. So, we went to the bottom of Tony Grove for their photos. Luckily, there is a Tony Grove sign at the bottom we got to use for photos!

I'm super excited to photograph their wedding next year! Dylan and Sami's engagements turned out perfectly. The snow was gorgeous, we had sunlight, it wasn't crowded at all, and the trees looked so pretty with their snow covered branches. It might have been freezing the whole time, but so worth it for winter photos!
