Courtney + Sam | American West Heritage Center Bridals + First Look
It's finally time! Like many of my brides, Courtney and Sam's wedding was effected by COVID-19. It was originally planned for May 2020, and was rescheduled to September 2020. It's been such a tough year rescheduling weddings and helping my brides re-plan for new dates. But we are finally able to plan safe weddings and sessions!
Courtney and Sam are such a fun couple. We did their engagements last fall in the mountains, and went with the American West Heritage Center for their formals! I love this location. Beautiful fields, views of the Wellsville Mountains, gorgeous trees. It's so perfect for bridals and a first look!
First, we did their first look. Daylen filmed as I photographed. I love first looks! If you haven't heard of them, it's a newer trend to do a first look before the wedding ceremony. It's a quiet, private moment for the bride and groom to share a moment and see their wedding attire before the ceremony, and also get some photos and video. Some of my brides do these a while before the wedding in order to have prints for the wedding reception!
After the first look, we do a formal session! This is like a bridal session, but with both the groom and bride. How gorgeous are these?!
Here are some of my faves from Courtney and Sam's formal session:
