3 Forgotten Wedding Tips | Cache Valley Wedding Photographer
Wedding planning is stressful to most people. There are so many things that go overlooked while planning, that brides often don't notice until it's too late! They can effect you, your guests, and your photos afterwards. Today, I'm sharing my three best wedding tips that can easily be overlooked, but are super important for your big day.
1. When you cut the cake, don't put the cake against a wall! (Or whichever dessert you choose to have.) Brides often will put their cake out of the way against a wall during the reception, which is fine. But, you have to remember to move it out into the open when it's time to cut the cake. Your guests want to see you! Your photographer wants to photograph your face, not your back! Then, when the cake is cut, you can always put it right back against that wall out of the way.
2. Go with the trends, but don't over-do it. Those elaborate colors and patterns are in style when you get married, which helps you remember the times! But, not everything needs to be trendy. Add in some timeless decor to balance it out so when you look back in 20 years, there are still some elements of your wedding you absolutely love.
3. Decide what you need and what you don't in your budget. Some brides spend $10,000 on a wedding dress, and some spend $10. Either way is fine! As long as what you spend money on makes you happy. A big fancy cake may be all you want on your big day, or you may want to focus on other things. Figure out what you absolutely need and what you are just buying because you feel you have to.
