Our California Trip
Over Thanksgiving weekend, we drove all the way to Orange County, California with my mom and her boyfriend Rob to spend Thanksgiving with his family! We visited Huntington Beach, Downtown Disney, Hollywood, and a few more spots in SoCal. I brought four types of cameras for this trip, my trusty DSLR, a film camera, a Polaroid camera, and my phone camera, so you can imagine how many photos I took.
Since we were staying in Rob's family's beach house in Huntington Beach, Daylen and I even woke up early one morning to see the sunrise on the beach and take some much needed photos of the two of us. Being behind the camera all the time doesn't allow for many personal photos!
Daylen made it his personal mission to find shells and sand dollars for me, rare finds on such a popular beach, and spent three hours wading in the water looking. He found over 100 shells total! We brought some back for his younger siblings and made shell ornaments.
Between family activities and shell hunting, we also found some time for a mini-mini session on the beach for my mom and Rob. We had so much fun in California, I hope you enjoyed my photos! For prints of nature/art photos, please visit here.
