My 5 Favorite Places to Travel within the United States

There is so much to see in the US if you love to travel! Whether Daylen and I are traveling for fun, or for our photography/videography business, we love seeing other places and exploring around the country. We've been many places, and it was so hard to narrow it down to just five. These are all places I think anyone would love to travel! Click here to see my tips for super cheap travel. Let's jump in!

1. Yellowstone - Grand Tetons - Jackson Hole Area! We absolutely love going here! There are many ways to get into Yellowstone, including the west entrance I used my whole childhood, but our favorite is the south entrance. It starts in Jackson Hole WY, where you'll find the cutest shops, restaurants, and outdoor activities. You can raft the rivers, ski at the ski resort, ride horses, and much more. It's also the entrance to Grand Teton National Park! Grand Teton is a park we have been to a lot, but I'd like to explore more. There are tons of hikes, overlooks, and other cool places. Once you drive all the way up, you'll enter Yellowstone National Park. The geysers, boardwalks, hot pools, lodges, and wildlife are only some of the reasons it's our favorite National Park! Spend a few days exploring this park to see as much as you can. Click here to see more.

2. The 5 Utah National Parks! Utah has some pretty cool places, especially the 'mighty five' National Parks! The parks are: Arches NP, Bryce NP, Canyonlands NP, Capitol Reef NP, and Zion NP. Our very favorite is Bryce, which ties with Yellowstone as our favorite National Parks! There is so much to do in these parks, so pack your hiking boots and camera and head to southern Utah! Click each park name for more tips.

3. Northern Georgia + Tennessee! If you're going to the South, don't miss GA and TN! I've been there a couple times now, and it just gets better every time. I loved Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Nashville area, the Chattahoochee River, and the FOOD IS AMAZING. Can't wait to go back sometime! See more about it here.

4. California Coast! I love living out west, and the proximity to the west coast is amazing. My stepdad Rob is from Orange County, so we are lucky enough to get to go there a bunch! Our favorite beaches so far are Huntington Beach and Laguna Beach. There is so much to do, I couldn't possibly fit it all. Check out the OC Fair, Disneyland + Downtown Disney, Balboa Island, and Catalina Island to name a few. Read more about our most recent trip here.

5. Flagstaff Area Arizona! I grew up going to Flagstaff to cool down from the Phoenix heat, and maybe see some snow. I knew when I took Daylen to Flagstaff he'd love it, and I was right! It's a mountain town that looks nothing like what you'd imagine when you think of Arizona. There are ski resorts there for the winter! We loved seeing the south rim of the Grand Canyon, Wupatki National Monument, and Sunset Crater National Monument as well! There is some awesome hiking in this area too. Read more about it here.

There you have it! My five favorite places to travel in the USA. I'm so lucky to live in the west, where I have access to a lot of these places. Is one of these your top five places? Comment your 5 below!
