Ogden Restaurant Tour

Ogden has some pretty cool places to eat! I used to live there, so I have some classic faves as well as new spots to check out. It changes so often there, and there are lots of different types of restaurants.

For this week's blog post, I've collected five Ogden restaurants to review. Some are good, some, not so much. Leave a comment where I should try next! And check out my Ogden Area Date Ideas blog post too!

Roosters Brewing Co. - I love Roosters! A classic favorite of mine. It's located on 25th street in the historic district of Ogden. The atmosphere alone is enough to justify visiting! I love their pizza and burgers, and they have a great Caesar salad. There is a Roosters in Layton as well, but I don't love it as much as the Ogden one. 10/10

Slackwater Pub & Pizzeria - Another great choice! I'm a big fan of their pizzas here! I get a five cheese pizza with spinach. We love the atmosphere here as well! It's right along the Ogden River, and they have live music on weekends. Lately, I haven't loved their food as much as I used to, it seems like the quality has gone down just a bit. But still good. 8/10

Ogden River Brewing Co. - Yep, Ogden has a lot of brewery restaurants. This one is a newer one along the Ogden River! I was excited to try it. The drinks were good, and it pretty much stops there. The food was not great, and they made my food wrong a record 3 times. The service was bad as well. 3/10

UTOG Brewing Co. - I thought it couldn't get worse than Ogden River but it does! The burger was clearly a frozen patty with no flavor. Nothing was great. The service was good. It was so disappointing I didn't even snap a photo. Another flop! 1/10

Lucky Slice Pizza - Lucky slice is good! Perfect for thin crust pizza lovers. I'm more of a thick crust gal, but I knew it'd be thin going in. Love the breadsticks! Just wish there was more to the pizza. They have a super cool location on 25th street though! 7/10

The Pie Pizzeria - I loved the pie! Their pizza is thick and super yummy. They use a little too much sauce for me but besides that it was good. It's up by Weber State University kind of out of the way, and you can either eat there or take it home. 8/10

Lindquist Field - No longer just a baseball field! Lindquist now has a Sunday brunch and bar area where you can watch away games live. It's pretty cool. Their in game food rocks too! I love the parmesan garlic fries, and anything from the restaurant up top. 9/10

That's my food tour of Ogden! I'll update this blog post as I try more Ogden places, or get photos of the ones I have tried. Have you tried any of these places? Comment below!
