I can't believe it's been two years since we got married! It feels somehow shorter and longer than two years. This year we will celebrate 8 years together! During our second year of marriage we finished building our home, moved to Hyrum, explored more of Utah including finally seeing all 5 national parks, relaxed a lot after house building, and spent a ton of time outdoors doing things we love. I can't wait to see what year three has in store!
Continuing our anniversary tradition, we took a trip to Bryce Canyon National Park, our favorite national park! This time we camped by Panguitch Lake and brought our boat along. There were so many people out for Memorial Weekend. But, it was a blast!
We spent the first couple days on the boat fishing. Daylen caught some pretty nice sized rainbow trout and Bridgette loved the lake! It was so warm, sunny and nice. We ate at a little café on the lake and it was so gorgeous.
We also spent some time in the park! This time we hiked a little bit of the Fairyland Loop. We hadn't been to that one, it's far from the other main hikes we usually do. It was so pretty! There was a big storm rolling in that night so we didn't get to hike as long as normal.
Then, we met up with our friends Sadie and Tyler for dinner! We ate at our favorite place in Bryce, Bryce Canyon Pines. It was delicious as usual. It was so fun to hang out with friends while on our trip! We took some couples photos of them while we were in the park and they turned out so pretty. Then we took an evening walk in Red Canyon. Sadie introduced us all to Chocolate Coke at Ruby's! They put a special kind of chocolate syrup in a Coca-Cola and it's surprisingly really good.
We spent our last day packing up camp and four-wheeling. There are lots of cool trails to ride on in the area, and we saw more things we definitely want to do next time we go.
