Best Desserts in Cache Valley

If there's one thing Utah loves, it's dessert. We have cookie shops, ice cream shops like crazy, specialty soda shops, and so much more. They're everywhere! I have a big sweet tooth, and so does Daylen. We often find ourselves grabbing an ice cream in the summer or having a weekend flavored soda. Even in little Cache Valley, there's a wide variety of really fun and yummy desserts!

I've collected all of my favorite Cache Valley dessert places to share with y'all. Daylen and I have tried all of these and love them! Comment at the bottom your favorites!

Crumbl - Crumbl may be a nationwide chain now that everyone knows about, but it started right here in Logan! When I was going to USU, it was started by a fellow USU student in Logan. We went and got a cookie when it first opened (Midnight Mint!) and have loved it ever since. The most popular thing to get is their four cookie box. They have different flavors every week that are so fun to try!

Kari Anne's - Every May, Cache Valley residents line up for the opening of Kari Anne's and it remains busy all season! Kari Anne's is frozen custard and Italian ice and it's SO GOOD. Just as good as my all time favorite Italian ice shop in Ogden, Zeppe's. Check their Instagram page before you go to see the flavors for the week. Make sure you get a gelati so you can have both ice and custard!

Swig - The best specialty sodas in the valley! Swig is famous for it's unique drinks and expansive menu. There are so many good ones to try! Their new drink, The Ring King, is right up my alley. They also have boba, slushes, and cookies! Definitely sign up for their loyalty program so you get free drink credits. It's always busy during the day, so be prepared to wait in the drive through!

Aggie Ice Cream - We are obsessed with Aggie Ice Cream lately. I first tried it when I started college up at USU. It's on campus. So yummy! They have lots of fun flavors, but Daylen and I love sticking with Aggie Blue Mint. They also have shakes and really yummy waffle cones. We love going here late on summer nights and eating outside.

Culver's Frozen Custard - Culver's is so good! They have super soft, creamy frozen custard that we love. I love getting a sundae with vanilla custard and cookie dough pieces. They've got lots of options with a variety of toppings and flavors. Their shakes are amazing as well!

Crispy Cones - This one is new! We tried Crispy Cones this past Christmas for the first time and loved it. It's a bit pricey for an ice cream cone, but the toppings are insane and the cones are big. Daylen and I usually share one because we couldn't possibly finish two. The cones are churros and are so cool! You pick a cone, ice cream or hot fruit flavor, drizzle and topping.

Temptation Cupcake - By far the best cupcakes in the valley. I've worked with Temptation Cupcake multiple times with my photography business. They are so yummy! They have different flavors and styles, and a variety of menu items to choose from. It's local only, and the owners are so sweet!

Charlie's Supreme Ice Cream - The richest ice cream in Cache Valley! So thick and creamy. It's unreal. Charlie's is an old fashioned ice cream shop in Logan that has the cutest theme and amazing ice cream. It's very rich, and they have a lot of different flavors to choose from.

Icehouse Frozen Custard - Another great custard place! Icehouse is a dessert shop owned by Firehouse Pizza next door. We love both! Icehouse's custard is a little more like hard ice cream rather than soft serve. They also have yummy shakes and floats! They have lots of toppings and flavors to choose from.
