There's just something about a vintage soda in a glass bottle that is so cool! This summer, Daylen and I discovered that our local Ridley's Grocery Store has mix and match packs of vintage sodas that are 6 for $6! The minute we saw it we decided we had to try it. We loaded up a cardboard carton with six sodas that looked the best and took them home. I saw they had Shirley Temples and grabbed one since I loved them as a kid! Daylen loves cherry lime sodas so that was his first choice. We also grabbed some different colas, creme soda, cherry limeade and grape soda. The caps were the coolest part of the bottle!
We tried them all over a week. First up was the Shirley Temple. We both loved it! It wasn't too sweet, and the strawberry flavoring tasted more natural than artificial. All of them had the perfect amount of carbonation. The Shirley Temple was in my top 3 for sure. Definitely cutest bottle!
Next up was the cherry cola! Daylen tried this one and said it was his favorite of all the sodas! The colas were all sweeter than coke and pepsi, but not too sweet. I'd probably get a pack of just the different colas next time because they were so good.
Next we tried the Mr. Cola. This one was my favorite one! Sweeter than regular cola. It tasted vintage somehow. It was so good! I could have had only this one and loved it. Definitely going back for more Mr. Cola!
Next we tried the cherry limeade. Daylen loved this one! It tasted just like a classic cherry lime soda from Sonic. Perfect mix of cherry and lime. I'd get this one again as well! I liked the cute design on this bottle as well.
Next was the Crème Beer (cream soda). I was interested to see if this would be more like a cream root beer or cream soda and it was definitely cream soda! It was super yummy, I really liked this one a lot.
Lastly, we tried the grape soda. Daylen is more into grape soda than I am, but we both loved it! It's pretty much a classic grape soda.
We had so much fun trying the vintage sodas we found! We are definitely going back to get more and try some other flavors we didn't pick this time. My overall favorite was the Mr. Cola and Daylen's favorite was the Cherry Cola.
